Hi, I’m Roy or, as the creative world knows me,Blaze. I’m originally from New Delhi,India and
now proudly rooted in K’jipuktuk (Halifax), Nova Scotia, on unceded Mi’kmaq territory. From
childhood afternoons spent tracing cloud formations on my family’s rooftop to rallying the
neighborhood around impromptu feasts, I’ve always been a dreamer and a leader at
heart.Tending my mother’s and grandmother’s lush rooftop gardens in Delhi and Kolkata taught
me to honor nature’s delicate forms
My tattoo journey began in 2010 at Delhi University, where I honed my painting and sculpting
skills while simultaneously sharpening my expertise in business, marketing, and fine art. Over
the past 15 years, I’ve built an eclectic repertoire—photorealism, surrealism, Japanese
traditional, watercolor, and fine-line—and in 2022 became the first female artist in India to
complete a full-body suit in just three months. After making the leap to Canada in 2023, I joined
Adept Tattoos in Bedford, Nova Scotia, and simultaneously launched my digital creative agency,
Zero AM. Driven by cultural respect, inclusivity, and an ongoing spiritual awakening, I approach
every piece as a collaborative journey—bringing your story to life with meticulous craftsmanship,
heartfelt connection, and an unwavering commitment to pushing creative boundaries.
