BONNY

With 5 years of experience, tattoo artist Bonnie is a Korean artist currently based in Halifax, Canada. She specializes in fine line–based blackwork, focusing on delicate linework, intricate detailing, and strong contrast-driven compositions that emphasize depth and clarity.
Her work spans Cyber Sigilism, fine line animal portraits, and graphic, vintage, and occult-inspired aesthetics. Rather than focusing solely on visual replication, she prioritizes creating designs that carry narrative, atmosphere, and emotional resonance.
Bonnie began structured art training at the age of 10 in Korea in preparation for art school, building a strong foundation in form, structure, and composition. She later became a tattoo artist and developed her career internationally, working across Australia, the UK, Singapore, and the United States. These diverse cultural experiences helped shape and refine her personal visual language. She is also part of an art studio, where she participates in educational programs and shares knowledge and experience.
Her artistic direction is rooted in finding beauty beyond conventional standards. She is drawn to themes of darkness, imperfection, and decay, reinterpreting them into refined visual compositions that carry both tension and elegance.
Through this approach, Bonnie aims to create tattoos that do not fade in meaning over time. Each piece is designed not only to be visually enduring, but also to remain emotionally relevant—work that continues to resonate as part of the wearer’s story, rather than simply existing as decoration.
