Here’s how booking works at 808 Studios, what to expect before your appointment, and why our process puts your comfort and clarity first.

🖋️ 1. Start With the Artist You Love

Step one is choosing the artist whose style speaks to you. Each 808 Studios artist specializes in something unique: from hyperrealism and fine line work to bold custom designs.

You can explore portfolios directly on our website or Instagram to find your perfect match. If you’re unsure, send us your idea and we’ll help point you in the right direction.

💬 2. Inquiries & Consults: What Happens First

Once you’re ready to move forward, fill out our tattoo request form or reach out via Instagram or email with your:

• Tattoo idea or inspo

• Placement and size

• Preferred dates

➡️ Not all artists at 808 offer consultations, but the ones who do provide them completely free of charge. If your artist prefers to skip consults, don’t worry! we’ll gather all the info we need online to make sure your session is fully prepped and collaborative from the start, you'll always have time to chat with your artist way before the needle starts running.

📅 3. Booking Your Appointment

After we confirm your artist and tattoo concept, we’ll lock in your session date(s). Some designs; especially larger realism work, may need multiple sessions, which we’ll outline ahead of time.

You’ll be asked to send a deposit to hold your spot, and we’ll provide full prep instructions so you walk in feeling ready.

808 Studios was designed with your comfort in mind, so don’t expect a cold, clinical tattoo shop vibe. Instead, you’ll find:

• Free espresso, drinks, and snacks

• Noise-cancelling headphones, pillows, and slippers

• A calm, judgment-free space to chill before, during, and after your appointment
