We're excited to welcome Raevle, a realism tattoo artist from South Korea, as our newest resident artist at 808 Studios in Halifax, Nova Scotia.

Known for bringing the delicate beauty and energy of nature to life through highly detailed realism, Raevle brings a unique artistic perspective to our studio, combining a formal Fine Arts background with 3 years of professional tattooing experience and inspiration gathered through her artistic work overseas.

Meet Raevle

Before becoming a tattoo artist, Raevle formally studied Fine Arts beginning in high school.

That background gave her a strong foundation in form, structure, composition, and visual storytelling, skills that have become an important part of her tattooing style.

After beginning her tattoo career 3 years ago, she continued developing her artistic language through guest work and experiences overseas, drawing inspiration from different cultures and artistic environments along the way. The result is a style that feels highly detailed but still fluid and organic.

Her work isn't simply about recreating an image on skin. She focuses on capturing the movement, texture, and character of her subjects while designing each tattoo to work naturally with the body.
